Beverly "Bev" Boothe, 75, died peacefully in her home after a short illness on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, in Center Point, Iowa.
Beverly was born Nov. 23, 1946, the daughter of Victor and Darlene Hess. She lived her life to the fullest with her family and friends and was known for loving all things “artsy-fartsy,” as she would say. Bev always had a smile and a laugh ready whenever it was needed. She also had a love for antiques and traveling to the farmer's market with her partner in life, Jay.
She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was love and joy wrapped up in one wonderful woman.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Bev is survived by her life partner, Jay Coffland; her sister, Deb Hess of Parnell, Iowa; her son, Brian (Chester) and Jody Boothe of Marion, Iowa; and daughter, Jenna and Ed Michler of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Beverly has seven grandchildren, Emma, Camryn and Reece Boothe, Charlie, Samantha and Maggie Michler, and Emily Cornish.
Bev's wish was for no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Mercy Care Hospice. Donations may be made by visiting www.mercycare.org/giving.
