She was united in marriage to Lyle Ray Spinler on February 1, 1959, at the Methodist Church in Central City, Iowa. After working for over 30 years as a case manager, she retired from HACAP. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles in the newspaper every day, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She and Lyle loved traveling in their RV and camping at Squaw Creek in Marion, where they often went fishing, and rode their motorcycle around Iowa. She deeply cherished her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Lyle Spinler; children, Doug (Sandy) Spinler, LuAnn (Rick) White, Krystal (Bruce) Renken, Meloni Franck (Mark McNabb), Angel (John) Chaney; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many aunts and uncles; special friend, Jeanne White; and her beloved fur baby, Cole.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jackie; sister, Deborah Reinhold; and brothers, Norman Opfer and John Opfer; and in-laws, Ray and Marie Spinler.
