Beverly Dunn, 95, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, April 21, 2023. No services will be held. Beverly will be laid to rest at Hayward Lutheran cemetery, located in Hayward, Minn. She is survived by her child, Elvamarie Bonser; sisters, Verlene Nelson and Dixie Lea Mathisen; grandchildren, Brenda Grullon, Kristi Bonser and Travis Truesdell. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Dunn; brother, Donald Buss; and her parents, Irene Reynolds and Richard Reynolds.
Beverly was a wonderful woman and loved to experience travel. She and her husband visited many places before calling Tampa their final destination. Beverly was the proud president of wives of U.S. submarine Veterans of World War II, and a long active member of the Elks Lodge. Beverly will be missed by many. The family is asking for any donations to be sent to the Hayward Lutheran church of Hayward, Minn. Remember to hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. Life is never promised.
