Beverly Ann Druecker Brooks, 73, of Whitewood, S.D., formerly of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully in her home on May 23, 2018, after a short illness.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer (Gary) Dietze and Suzanne (Jason) Purvis; four grandchildren, Courtney, Bryanna, Melissa and Cynthia; a great-granddaughter, Gracie; partner, Bill; a sister, Kathy; and nephew, Michael. She
was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gertrude Druecker; a brother, Allan; and an ex-husband, Ronald.
Raised on a farm in rural Williamsburg, she had a great compassion for small animals that carried into her older years. Beverly achieved her LPN nursing degree while being a single mother and worked at several care facilities. Beverly loved to take care of her flower gardens and enjoyed the outdoors. After living in Iowa for the majority of her life, Beverly decided to move to Whitewood, S.D., in 2016 to be closer to Suzanne and her family. They enjoyed some much-needed time together enjoying the scenery of the Black Hills before she got ill. She was cremated and her remains are with her loving children and partner according to Beverly's wishes.
