Beverly A. Clinton, 78, of Quasqueton, died Friday morning, June 27, 2014, at her home in Quasqueton.
Beverly was born Sept. 8, 1935, near Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Harry W. and Ida P. (Bentley) Johnson. She was a 1953 graduate of Quasqueton High School and was united in marriage to Gerald E. Clinton in Quasqueton. The couple resided in Cedar Rapids until moving to Quasqueton following her retirement from Square D in Cedar Rapids in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald; a son, Jeffrey Clinton; and a sister, Diana Horvath.
Beverly is survived by five children, Micheal (Cyndi) Clinton, Independence, Cindi (Ken) Kietty, Cedar Rapids, Timothy Clinton, Cedar Rapids, Dennis (Diane) Clinton, Center Point, and Larry (Kathy) Clinton, Cedar Rapids; 19 grandchildren; several great-grand-children; two sisters, Betty Bontrager, Walker, and Linda Johnson, Rose Hill, Kan.; and three brothers, Frank (Jean) Johnson, El Paso, Texas, Burl (Marilyn) Johnson, Swisher, and Dean Johnson, Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Union Church, Quasqueton, with the Rev. Kevin Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Quasqueton Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory in Quasqueton and from 9 a.m. until services Monday at the church.
