BEULAH "BUTCH" FOLKEN

Beulah "Butch" N. Folken, 87, of Anamosa, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at Anamosa Care Center in Anamosa.
Beulah Frasher was born Feb. 28, 1928, the third child of Thomas and Dora (Hughes) Frasher. She married Louis C. Folken on April 19, 1945, at the St. Paul Lutheran Parsonage in Anamosa. They enjoyed 70 years together.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Diana Heasty and Shirley Mannino; her brothers, Tom, Gene and David; and her grandson, Jay Schmidt.
She is survived by her husband; her sister, Betty Schnepp of Kalamazoo, Mich.; her children, Carolyn (Rick) Paulson of Sioux Falls, S.D., Louis (Laurie), John (Shirley) and Kathy (Mike) Schmidt, all of Springville, and Steven of Viola; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service. A private family committal service will be at a later date by Pastor Katie Lowe Lancaster of St. Paul's.
