BEULAH "BEA" BECKER

Beulah "Bea" Becker, 83, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, at Rockridge Residential Care Center in Shellsburg following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone with Pastor Mike Ferguson officiating. Interment will
be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Keystone.
Beulah Marie Becker was born May 10, 1933, at Masonville, to Edward and Helen (Main) Chambers and graduated from Manchester High School. She married Dean Becker. They owned and operated Newhall Bowlium and later moved to Meservey, where they owned a bar. "Bea" enjoyed fishing, reading and golfing. Her greatest pleasure came from music.
She is survived by her son, Curt Becker of Newhall; her grandchildren, Doug and Shallen Becker of Newhall; her sister-in-law, Irene Furler of Newhall; and her brother-in-law, Floyd Onler of Cedar Rapids.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dean, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Becker, in 2014; her sister, Mary Onler; and her brother, Harold "Red" Chambers.
