Betty Lee Miller, 89, of Mechanicsville, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Mechanicsville Specialty Care. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount
Vernon, by Pastor Barb Krueger. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville.
Survivors include her son, Don (Jean) Miller; brothers, Gene Glover, James (Margaret) Glover, Donald (Peggy) Glover and Larry (Marcia) Judd; sister, Belva Judd; grandchildren, Tracy Miller and Scott Miller; and great-grandchildren, Josh, Ashlynn and Chase.
Betty was born Sept. 19, 1926, in West Virginia, the daughter of Charles and Gladys Glover. On Aug. 28, 1943, she married Francis Miller in Kahoka, Mo. Betty worked as a baker for Cornell College and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis; special friend, William "Willy" Weber; and brothers, DeWayne Glover, Robert Glover and Gary Judd.
Memorials are suggested to the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church.
