Betty L. Bramow, 90, of Cedar Rapids, passed away August 5, 2025. Private Family Services will be held. Entombment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
Surviving are her children Linda (Dan) Herdliska of Cedar Rapids, Connie (Mike) Walkner of Cedar Rapids, and Randy (Karen) Bramow of Hiawatha; seven grandchildren, Scott, Brenda, Bridget, Samantha, Quinn, Christian, and Lexi; five great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Korff; sisters-in-law, Sandy Langfitt and Linda Langfitt; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marv in 2009; and siblings, Floyd, Alma, Don, Bob, Opal, and Earl.
Betty was born on July 27, 1935, in Iowa City, Iowa to Orland and Naomi (Brown) Langfitt. She married Marvin P. “Marv” Bramow on October 27, 1954, in Columbus, Ga. She and Marv owned and operated United Clean All. Betty also had her own cleaning business. In her free time, she enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, painting and cooking. Marv and Betty also liked visiting the casino and traveling together.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Essence of Life Hospice, 606 39th Ave., Amana, IA 52203.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Meth-Wick, The Woodlands for their kindness and care.
