Betty Louise Kauffman, 94, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 13, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Noelridge Christian Church, Cedar Rapids. Interment of cremains will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Betty was born March 31, 1928, to Lester and Mary Auman in Slater, Iowa. She graduated from Toddville High School. Betty married Russell Kauffman on Sept. 13, 1953. They spent 68½ years together. She worked at Harding Junior High School for 20 years in food service.
Betty is survived by her husband, Russ; children, Dan (Erin), Doug and Dean; grandchildren, Brian (Dolly), Reid and Camryn; and great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kaylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Robert and Donald Auman.
