Betty Grace Seeger, 45, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. There will be no service at this time. A visitation will be held at 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Betty was born on May 4, 1980, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Darryl and June (Rothrock) Hassinger. She attended Dauphin County Technical School. On April 21, 1999, Betty was united in marriage to Jason Anthony Seeger in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Together, they raised three sons and a daughter. Betty worked for Alside Windows for ten years before working for CCB Packaging for the last three years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Jason Seeger of Marion; children, Daniel Seeger of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Anthony Seeger of California, Thomas Seeger of Cedar Rapids, and Catherine Seeger of Cedar Rapids; mother and father, June and Darryl Hassinger of Cedar Rapids; two nieces, Jennifer Lundin of Atkins, Iowa, and Tiffany Hassinger of Cedar Rapids; uncle, Dwayne Hassinger of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Nick Hassinger of Cedar Rapids; three brothers-in-law, Dustin Seeger, Richard Seeger, and Denaro Seeger, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and father-in-law, Jerry De Jesus of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Debra Seeger.
