Betty Adams, 82, of Oelwein, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at Mercy Living Plus in Oelwein. Mass of Christian Burial: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m.
Monday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, where there will be a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish Scripture service at 7 p.m., both on Monday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.
A memorial fund has been established.

Left to honor Betty's memory are her husband, Gene Adams of Oelwein; two sons, Dave Adams of Riverview, Fla., and Chuck Adams of Sparta, Wis.; two daughters, Diann (Dana) Smith of Oelwein and Carol (Gary) Underland of Sparta, Wis.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Loretta Hamilton of Owatonna, Minn., and Joan (Jake) Landas of Mankato, Minn.; and two sisters-in-law, Janet (Dwight) Wedemeier of Sumner and Mary Harn of Fresno, Calif.
