Bette Harger Siglin, 94, of Carmichael, Calif., formerly
of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 17, 2016. A memorial celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Gary) Seger, Cedar Rapids, Paule (Don) Lowrey, Las Vegas, Nev., and Lari (Marc) Stambuk, Carmichael; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Siglin; her parents; brothers, Robert and Richard Harger; sister, Jean Sterns; and niece, Deann Sandry.
Bette was born June 29, 1922, in Shellsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Dean and Dorothy Harger. She was a 1940 graduate of Cedar Rapids Roosevelt High School. Bette was adored by her very large family and will be embraced with love forever in our hearts.
