Bessey, Dale George
Dale George Bessey, 88, of Manchester, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the Lutheran Home in Strawberry Point. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 20, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Interment, with military honors by Manchester Post 45 and Iowa Honor Guard: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today and one hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Manchester; his children, Nanci (Jerry) Klein of Manchester, Randy (Dolly) Bessey of Manchester, Becky (Robert) Walsh of Winthrop, Tracy (Linda) Bessey of Manchester and Kurt Bessey of Manchester; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ilean (Frank) Evers of Florida.
Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
