Bessert, Hailey Rose

Hailey Rose Bessert, 3, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, following a motor vehicle accident. Funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Garden of Angels at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Hailey Rose was born Jan. 4, 2010, at 10:01 a.m. in Cedar Rapids to Maddison Holmquist and Jason Bessert.

Hailey is survived by her mother, Maddison Holmquist; grandpas, Todd Holmquist, Valerie Espinoza and Ron and Judy Bessert; great-grandparents, Paul and Sandy Holmquist, Filipi and Pam Gonzalas; many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Jason Bessert.

Hailey loved life. She was a happy little girl. She loved to dance and sing and swimming.

I  love you Hailey Rose ... you were my world, you were my light. You will always be in my heart. Love, Mom.
