Bertina Gesina Eckman, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at her home after a brief illness. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at St. John Lutheran Church near Homestead. Burial will be at St.
John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Camp Courageous.
