BERTHA REIFENSTAHL Cedar Rapids Bertha Reifenstahl, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Brosh Chapel & The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel. Bertha was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Rowley, the daughter of Eugene and Mary Jane (Timpson) Zerba. She was united in marriage to Frank Dvorak on April 27, 1953. To this union six children were raised. They later divorced. She was later united in marriage to Dean Reifenstahl. Bertha worked for many years as a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, raising her flowers, and spending time with her family, especially the many grandchildren. Bertha is survived by her children, Mary (Jim) Henderson of Marion, Helen (Mike) Ramsey of Williamsburg, Joan (Dale) Andrews of Rowley, Janie (Jim) Clinton of Toledo and Kenny (Traci) Dvorak and Debbie Dvorak (Ray), both of Cedar Rapids; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Merwin (Marge) Zerba Sr. of Hiawatha; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean; and her siblings, Ralph, Raymond, Rowland, Lawrence and Harlan Zerba and Harriett Pisarik. Memorials may be directed to the family.
