BERTHA "BETTY" LOUISE GOLDSBERRY

Bertha "Betty" Louise Goldsberry, 94, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday July 20, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 10 a.m.
Betty was born July 31, 1923, in Spirit Lake, Idaho, to Edward and Angeline Martin. Betty graduated from McKinley High School in Cedar Rapids. She married Donald Goldsberry in March 1941 in Ryan. They lived in Iowa and later moved to California and lived there from 1969 to 1979. Betty was a member of the Shueyville United Methodist Church. Her happiest moments were when she was with family.
Betty is survived by her children, James (Connie) Goldsberry, Pamela (Mike) Reynolds and Donald (Shelley) Goldsberry; her sister-in-law, Bev Martin; previous daughter-in-law, Kathy Goldsberry; daughter-in-law, Linda Goldsberry; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and 11 step- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard; brothers, John (Bethel), Edward and Kenneth Martin; and a nephew, Kenneth Martin Jr.
