Bertelli, Mick Lane

Mick Lane Bertelli, 55, of Solon, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Bertelli of Solon; daughter, Courtney (Chris) Ressler of Shueyville; grandchildren, Harper Lane and Jacob Hayes Ressler; four brothers, Monty, Marty (Kathy), Murry and Mark (Lisa) Bertelli; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Curt and Sue Kieffer of West Branch; a sister-in-law, Wendy Bertelli of Hiawatha; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Betty Bertelli.

Mick was born June 15, 1957, in Centerville, son of Ray and Betty (Sorrell) Bertelli. In 1978, he married Robin Fatka in Cedar Rapids. He worked with the family business, City Wide Construction.

Mick loved his grandchildren, family and yard work. He also loved taking his granddaughter to the Hawkeye wrestling meets.

Mick was a donor with the Iowa Donor Network.

A memorial fund has been established.
