Berrie was born Jan. 13, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wis., and was the daughter of Bert and Janet Howard Lee. She graduated from Bettendorf High School and enjoyed various studies at Iowa State University. On July 15, 1969, Berrie was united in marriage to Larry Glick in Bettendorf, Iowa. Berrie was a partner with Larry in all aspects of life, including farming, family and church. They had been members of the United Methodist Church in Tipton, where Berrie shared her vocal talents in the church choir and devoted her time as a faithful servant in many capacities over the years. She shared her love of music by playing in the pit band for many of the Tipton High School Fine Arts productions as well as playing in the Tri-County Community Band. Berrie was a preschool teacher for many years and was a member of P.E.O Chapters DY and AH. She was elected to the Tipton School Board in 1989 and served for 12 years and was also a past 4-H leader. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed knitting. Although Berrie loved her children, Rob and Carrie, Berrie's grandchildren, Eli, Grady, Finn and Carson, were the lights of her life.
Berrie is survived by her husband, Larry Glick of Cedar Bluff, Iowa; children, Rob (Amy) Glick of Cedar Bluff and Carrie Glick of Mountain View (near Tipton, Iowa); sisters, Christine Quinlan of Rock Island, Ill., and Barbara (John) Lester of Davenport, Iowa; brother, Chuck (Renate) Lee of Bettendorf, Iowa; four grandsons, Eli and Finn Lindsey and Grady and Carson Glick; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Berrie was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Janet.
