Berns, Earl
Earl Berns, 94, of St. Olaf, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011, at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Elkader, with The Very Rev. Paul Peters as celebrant. Interment with Military Honors: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leonard Funeral Home and one hour before mass time Friday at the church.
Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
