Bernita M. Troxel, age 90, of Marengo, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo. Per Bernita’s wishes there will be no services. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is caring for Bernita and her family.
Bernita is survived by her daughters, Christina Kriegel of Marengo, and Diana (Robert) Scandridge of Sully; 6 grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Krakow of Marengo, Ryan (Cari) Kriegel of Marengo, Angela (Chad) Grimm of Utah, Payton Scandridge of Des Moines, Hailey (Jaden) Rolffs of Johnson City, VA, and Cooper Scandridge of Sully; several great-grandchildren; and a special nephew Gary Hepker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Benny Troxel, three brothers, Allen, Donald and Loren; two sisters, Helen and Eileen; and son-in-law Eugene Kriegel.
