Bernice A. Zabloudil, 94, formerly of Iowa City, Ainsworth and Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at the Solon Care Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until services Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established in her memory.

Bernice A. Graper was born Nov. 27, 1920, in Union Township of Johnson County, Iowa, the daughter of Hugo and Grace (Brandt) Graper. She was united in marriage to Adolph A. Zabloudil on Jan. 15, 1939, in Cosgrove. The couple farmed for a number of years, then she worked at Kresge in Iowa City and later at KMart in Cedar Rapids.
Bernice not only liked working outside the home, she enjoyed her gardens, flowers, crocheting, needle- work, playing cards, dominoes, listening to music and, in her younger years, dancing.
She had this thing about babies, she loved all babies, whether it was a chicken, puppy, kitten or one of her many grandchildren; she simply loved all babies!
Her family includes daughters, Carolyn Wolter (Dwain) of South Amana, Grace Stock of Clinton, Mary Reese (Roy) of Iowa City, Margaret Farmer of Hills, Helen Miller (Thomas D.) of West Branch and Nina Cullin (Randy) of Iowa City; sons, Adolph "Zab" Zabloudil Jr. (Mary) of Mount Vernon, Jim Zabloudil (Linda) of Storm Lake, Bob Zabloudil (Deb) of Westerville, Ohio, and George Zabloudil of Washington, Iowa; 25 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Brian Cullin; sons-in-law, John Stock and Russell Zook; sister, Carrie Lewis; and brothers, Ivan and Glen Graper.
