Bernadette F. Aldrich, 101, of Independence, Iowa, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at the Buchanan County Health Center, Independence.
She is survived by five children, George Aldrich, Brandon, Iowa, Mary Lowe, Marion, Iowa, Joyce Downing, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Helen (Jerry) Barske, Independence, Iowa, and Bill (Sandy) Aldrich, Brandon, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Independence, with the Rev. Don Plamondon officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. and a parish vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday.
