Bergmeier, Luella Mae
Luella Mae Bergmeier, 87, of Dysart, died Jan. 12, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in Waterloo, with visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
She was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Waterloo, the daughter of Marshall and Della Yoder Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John Bergmeier.
She is survived by six sons, Gary (Carol) Bergmeier of Auburn, Ind., Keith Bergmeier of Denver, Iowa, Bill (Janice) Bergmeier of Elberon, Jim (Joline) Bergmeier of Chelsea, Mark (Carla) Bergmeier of La Porte City and Robert Jack (Patty) Quail of Waterloo; four daughters, Alta Ann (Kenny) Hamer of Kingslad, Ga., Diana (Tom) Scoggin of Aldie, Va., Joy (Allen) Cox and Gloria (Jack) Hockey, both of Washburn; three brothers; three sisters; and 93 grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
