Benner, Richard C.
Richard C. Benner, 77, of North Liberty, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. He had worked for the City of Iowa City for many years in the streets department.
His family includes six children, Roxann Hostetler, Mark Benner, Jeff Benner, Ronnie Benner, Laurie Benner and Debbie Benner; 13 grandchildren, including Jasmine Benner who Richard helped raise since her childhood; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Barbara in 2001.
Richard's request for this time was simple family services, which have been held.
