Ben Huber, son of Arnold and Mildred (Yarbough) Huber, passed away at the Solon Care Center on Aug. 25, 2016.
There will be a military service at Solon Legion Park at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, followed by a celebration of life at the Solon Legion.

Ben was a sergeant in Company B 1st Airborne, Battle Group 506th Infantry, 3rd U.S. Army from Aug. 23, 1960, to July 19, 1966.
Ben enjoyed catching and cooking turtles, playing baseball, stock car racing, mushroom hunting, deer hunting and fishing.
He is survived by a sister, Marilyn Merritt; brothers, Skip (Pat) Huber and Jim (Connie) Huber; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Paul; and nephews, Steve Merritt, Gary Huber and Joe Huber.
