Benjamin "Ben" Strother, 47, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 3, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital. Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with Pastor Seth Watson presiding. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at Brosh Chapel.
Benjamin was born Dec. 5, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Eugene and Diana (Titlbach) Strother. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School, Class of 1988. He enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Ben is survived by his parents, Eugene and Diana Strother; his brother, Nathan Strother (Kevin Hunter); his sister, Sarah and husband Micheal Strother-Masse, all of Cedar Rapids, and their children, Dylan, Jackson and Drake Masse; his grandfather, Joseph Titlbach of Marion; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois Titlbach, Helen, Jackie and Louis Strother.
