Benishek, Juanita Ortberg
Juanita Ortberg Benishek, 77, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Christopher Podhajsky. Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday before the service at the funeral home.
Juanita was born July 11, 1933, in Delhi, Iowa. She retired from Square D and was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by four sons, Doug, Duane, Dean and David; sister, Linda Shaffer; brother, Mike (Cyndi) O'Brien; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband, Alavah Ortberg; second husband, Bill Benishek; her son, Darold Ortberg; and her brother, Dennis O'Brien.
A memorial fund has been established.
