Bellville, Roger Dean
Roger Dean Bellville, 54, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held before the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Maryann Bellville of Des Moines; his fiancee, Robyn McMurrin, and her two children, Courtney and Shane McMurrin, all of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Anne (Bill) Beals of Des Moines and Sharon (Jill) Bellville of Kentucky; two nephews, Mathew (Melissa) Beals and Jacob (Rachelle) Beals; the Loftsgaard family; special companion, his dog Lulu; and many more nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Bellville; and wife, Sue Ellen Bellville.
Roger Dean Bellville was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Dean and Maryann Sanger Bellville. Roger was united in marriage to Sue Ellen Loftsgaard on May 9, 1987, in Cedar Rapids. She passed away Oct. 9, 1999. Roger was president of the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club. He loved traveling and riding his motorcycle. When he was not riding his motorcycle, he enjoyed fishing, walking his dog Lulu and spending time with his beloved family, club brothers, and friends.
Roger will be remembered as a loving family man and friend, a thoughtful leader, a dedicated member of the Chosen Few Motorcycle Club, and a kind and gentle man of strong character and good heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
