Bell, Alice Irene (Lnenicka)

Alice Irene (Lnenicka) Bell, 85, of Sultan, Wash., formerly of Bertram, died Dec. 18, 2010, in Sultan. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bertram Town Hall from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 2, with a potluck meal to be shared by all. Alice has chosen to be cremated; her ashes will be scattered in the Index River near her home in Sultan.
Survivors include her husband, Arden; children, Tom (Pat) Bell, Margaret (Michael) Gowan, Faye Boots and Ted (Laura) Bell; brother, Albert (Shirley) Lnenicka; sisters, Joanne (Herm) Dinken, Helen (Ralph) McElhinney and Irma (Stanley) Drahos; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Libby Lnenicka; son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Boots; great-grandson, Caleb Champeau; and brother-in-law, George Petrick.
Alice was born March 25, 1925, near Ely, Iowa. She married Arden Bell on June 14, 1950. She was a member of the Methodist Church in both Bertram and Sultan. She was a loving and generous person who loved sewing, gardening and family reunions. She was well known for her apple butter and jams. We can picture her making quilts in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bertram United Methodist Church or Sultan Community Methodist Church.
