Beitz, Eleanor
Eleanor Beitz, 72, of Hopkinton, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, 2011, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First United Church of Hopkinton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Goettsch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eleanor Kay Haynes was born Feb. 15, 1939, at Earlville, Iowa, the daughter of William and Naomi E. (Hobson) Haynes. She graduated from the Delhi High School with the class of 1956. Eleanor married Galen Beitz on June 30, 1958, at the Hopkinton Methodist Church; he survives her. The couple farmed east of Hopkinton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
