Behounek, Alan J.
Alan J. Behounek, 76, died Sunday, March 20, 2011, at his home following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Chelsea, by Deacon Joe Behounek. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, with a 6:30 p.m. rosary.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Julie Behounek of Jersey City, N.J.; sons, Jeff (Tammy) of Belle Plaine, and Jerome of Chelsea; and grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established.
