Becker, Deborah Lynn (Baldwin)

Deborah Lynn (Baldwin) Becker, 59, of Marion, passed away in her home on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids.

Deborah was born Nov. 30, 1952, in Villisca, Iowa, to Richard and Lois (Shrimpton) Baldwin-Gatewood. She graduated from Villisca High School in 1970. She married Randall T. Becker in 1979. They resided in Dubuque, Clinton, and most recently Marion.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Randall Becker; her children, Matthew Becker of Eugene, Ore., and Mary Becker (Wagner) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Lilly and Michael Wagner of Colorado Springs; her brother, Thomas Baldwin of Nodaway, Iowa; 11 cousins, one niece, one nephew, one aunt and one uncle.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her grandparents, Thomas and Marybelle Baldwin.

Deborah adored her grandchildren and found comfort and solitude in the company of her family.

She was an avid gardener and was at peace while tending her flower gardens and grooming her yard.

She was a friend to many and loved by all whose lives she touched.
