Becker, Dean R.
Dean R. Becker, 84, of Meservey, Iowa, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South, Belmond, Iowa. Pastor Rodney Meester will officiate. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Blairstown, with graveside military rites provided by American Legion Post 167 of Newhall. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight and one hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
Dean is survived by his wife, Bea; sons, Curtiss of Newhall and Kevin of Marshall, Wis.; two grandchildren, Doug Becker and Shallen Becker; and a sister, Irene Furler of Newhall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother and sister-in-law, John and JoAnn Becker.
