Beaty Jr., Robert E.
Robert E. Beaty Jr., 91, of Ames, died March 17, 2012. Services are 11 a.m. March 28 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Ames, with visitation at 9:30 a.m.
Bob was a resident of Ames since 1939, a graduate of ISU, a World War II vet and Purple Heart recipient, and owner of Beaty Real Estate and Insurance. He married Rosemary Weisenbach in 1942.
The parents of six children, daughter Donna (Rick) Flynn and granddaughters Ali (Jim) McGrew and Micki Flynn are Cedar Rapids residents.
