Beatty, Janet Joan
Janet Joan Beatty passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha.
Janet is survived by two brothers, Lewis (Marlene) Wasendorf of Anamosa, and Russell Wasendorf of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by her children, Chuck Beatty of Walker, Cheryl Wittke (Jim) of Cedar Rapids, Kristine Tracey (Jim) of Madison, Wis., Sharon Geneske (Randy) of Lisbon, Scott Beatty (Jenny) of Colby, Wis., and Troy Beatty of Cedar Rapids.
Janet had 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a niece, Karen Beyer-Smith (Bob); and two nephews, Clinton Wasendorf (Elizabeth) and Russell Wasendorf (Amber).
We would like to thank all of the people at Hospice House for their help and support. It was a great comfort to all of us to know that Mom was treated with kindness, compassion and respect in all her last days.
Mom will be greatly missed.
