Batterson, Mary Emma
Mary Emma Batterson, 87, of Wadena, died Sunday, July 3, 2011, at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at the Wadena Community Church. Pastor Rusty Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in the Wadena Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Elgin and one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
Survivors include her two children, Lyla (Lowell) Lamphier of Wadena and Ray (Anne) Batterson of Gilbert, Ariz.;17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Judy Batterson of Fredericksburg and Janet Batterson of West Union; and two sisters, Helen Persson of Cedar Rapids and Virginia Westover of Gaylord, Mich.
