Batey, Catherine Ura
Catherine Ura Batey, 91, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Oskaloosa, died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine, with Pastor Chuck Rennie of Sycamore Baptist Church, East Moline, presiding. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by sons, Collin (Evelyn) Batey of Port Byron, Ill., and Leon (Kay) Batey of Belle Plaine; daughter, Deborah (Joseph) Byrd of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
