Barbara M. Wright, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at Northbrook Manor Nursing Home. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her children, Jon (Mary) Wright of Maple Grove, Minn., Jamie Wright of Cedar Rapids and Kris Wright of Cedar Rapids; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Hannah, Mikala, Brandon, Rhianne and Samara.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; and son, Mike.
Barbara was born Dec. 5, 1935, in Joliet, Ill., the daughter of John and Mary (Bagay) Hrusosky. She married Clarence Wright on June 30, 1959, in Joliet. Clarence and Barbara were owners and operators of Art Mart Gallery. Barbara was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling with Clarence, cooking, gambling and especially spending time with her beloved family. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
