Barbara Maxine Richards, 84, of Chelsea, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at her home. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, with Pastor Michael Kolesar officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Barbara is survived by her longtime companion, Kenny Johnston; three daughters, Patty (Dennis) Shine of Victor, Lisa Evans (John Griffith) of Victor and Becky (Scott) Morgan of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Carrie (Nick) Krapfl of Marion, Robert (Jenny) Gasper of Indianapolis, Ind., Heather (Scott) Stowell of Victor, Deana Evans of Victor and Ryan Morgan of Austin, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Kendall, Blake, Hayden, Kamden, Quincie, Raegen and Keenyn; five stepgrandchildren, Carrie (Chad) Williams, Altoona, Angela (Tim) Heishman, Brooklyn, Sara (Alan) Mohr, Ladora, Christopher (Tiffany) Shine, Marengo, and Michael (Amanda), Johnston; 10 stepgreat-grandchildren, Carson, Kayden, Dakota, Porter, Tyson, Easton, Ellie, Emma, Addi and Jason; and a brother, Gary (Karen) Marcoe of Alvo, Neb. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Les and Dean; two sisters, Bonnie Seefus and Phyllis Meritt; and a brother-in-law, Mike Seefus.
