Barbara J. Mease, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Heritage Nursing and Rehab. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Survivors include her partner in life and love, Earl Ballou; four daughters, Pamela (Cliff) Easley of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Charles) Homrighouse of Shell Rock, Penny Jacobs of Tulsa, Okla., and Tamara Mease (Mark) of Cedar Rapids; a son, Michael of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Gene (Joyce) Goodell of Missouri and Kenneth (Mary Carol) Goodell of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Mary Ronnenberg of Florida. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill; and a great-granddaughter, Tayah.
Barb was born July 8, 1935, in Norfolk, Neb., the daughter of George and Mae Goodell.
Memorial donations may be given to Camp Courageous.
