Committal services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muscatine.
Memorials may be directed to City Circle Acting Company of Coralville.
Barbara was born Dec. 26, 1951, in Leon, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Katherine M. Ziska Lee. She grew up in Leon and the family later moved to Centerville, where Barb graduated from high school. Barb moved to Iowa City following grad-uation.
Barb was employed at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for over 40 years. During that time she worked in the office of University Hospitals' administration, the ambulatory surgery clinic and the department of internal medicine.
She was a founding member of City Circle Acting Company of Coralville and Iowa City Community Theater. Barb volunteered with the Children's Miracle Network Telethon and at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She was a cantor at St. Mary's Church in Solon, a choir member at St. Mary's Church in Iowa City and secretary of the Cedar Rapids Horseman's Club.
Barb had a passion for all animals, especially horses and her feline companion, Wanda. She loved music, theater and traveling.
Her great imagination, sense of humor and beautiful laugh will never be forgotten. Most important to her were friends and family.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Iowa City Hospice for its care and support.
Barb is survived by three sisters, Carol (Jim) Duncan of Urbandale, Mary Lee (Bill Biggs) of Henderson, Nev., and Laura Wilty of Des Moines; five nieces and nephews, Christian (Shannon), Amanda, Brandon, Blake and Kati (Danny); seven great-nieces and great-nephews; numerous extended family; and many devoted friends.
