Barbara Ann Langenberg, 80, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Iowa City Rehab and Health Care Center, where she had resided for several years. She was a lifelong resident of Iowa City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, with Father Stephen Witt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, July 16, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Iowa City Rehab and Health Care Center.
Barbara is survived by her siblings, William (Ruth) Langenberg, Marian (Richard) Murphy, Paul Langenberg, James (Linda) Langenberg, Donald (Diane) Langenberg, Eugene "Gene" (Rose) Langenberg and Judith (Jim) Beaty; 19 nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Laura (Slavata) Langenberg; and her sister-in-law, Ann Langenberg.
