Barbara John, 82, passed away May 29, 2024, with her family by her side. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral service, 2:00 p.m., June 9, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Interment will be private.
Barb is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim; daughters, Micki (Matt) Crispin and Darci (Mike) Klees; grandchildren, Jamie, Alex and Corey Crispin, Trey and Lauren Jasa; stepgrandchildren, Ethan and Brady Klees; brother, Dennis (Maxine) Homan; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Leo and Lillian Homan; seven siblings, Joe, Sue, Pat, Ann, Ed, Jean and Nick.
While Barb spent most of her adult life as a housewife and mother, she did work briefly at Rockwell Collins and The Marion School District. She loved to crochet doilies and bird watching at their cabin on Lake Delhi. She had many feeders designed for many species. She would get so excited when specific birds showed up. She had a great love for cardinals and hummingbirds. The love Barb showed her husband, kids and grandkids was immeasurable! Her goofiness, love and laugh will be greatly missed!
