Barbara Jean Pratt, 79, passed away early afternoon on Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at The Salvation Army, 1000 C Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Barbara was born on June 3, 1942, in southern Iowa. She attended The Salvation Army for 40 years. She lived a simple life and loved her family very much.
Barbara is survived by her husband of
48 years, Duane Pratt; her children, Terry Wallrich of Colorado, Nelson (Deborah) De La Vergne, Dakota De La Vergne of Cedar Rapids, Tom De La Vergue of Texas, Katherine Morgan of Cedar Rapids and Tara Kelly of Cedar Rapids; eight brothers; three sisters; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Lahoma Bearbower.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army.
