BARBARA A. MOONEY

Barbara A. Mooney, 77, of Clarence, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with the Rev. Matt Schneider-Adams officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time. Masks and social distancing will be required for those attending.
Barbara was born on Jan. 30, 1943, to Wilbur and Viola (Hipshur) Debner in Davenport, Iowa. She married Kenneth Mooney on May 19, 1979, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He died on May 13, 2014.
Barb liked working with the public, especially at her job at the bowling alley. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing and sewing.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Jeff and Craig Werling of Clarence and Jason (Kelli) Mooney of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Rob Debner of Clarence; sister, Joann DeMoss of Clarence; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; sons, Daniel and Brett; and brother, Jim.
