Banner, Robert 'Bob'
Robert “Bob” Banner, 73, of Swanton, Ohio, formerly of Marion, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at St. Richard Catholic Church, Swanton, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Banner; daughters, Andrea (Darin) Dawson, Audrey (Steven) Rosok and Heather (William) Gibson; a son, Matt Harris; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Ruth Banner; and two brothers, Wallace and Charles Banner.
Bob born in Omaha, Neb., on May 25, 1939. He was employed at SunSource as a hydraulic designer and engineer, retiring in 2004. Bob enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing and was an avid reader. Bob was a member of the Elks and St. Richards Parish in Swanton.
