Bamrick, Margaret Nancy
Margaret Nancy Bamrick was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Hibbing, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Margaret (McMahon) Tellor. She received her B.A. at St. Scholastica College in Duluth, Minn. Nancy was united in marriage to Martin Patrick Bamrick on Aug. 17, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minn. She worked in the medical library at hospitals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Waterloo, Fort Dodge and Webster City and in 1969 moved to Williamsburg where she worked for the University of Iowa in medical records. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar and rosary Society. Nancy died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by her husband, Martin of Williamsburg; three children, Katherine Bamrick of Coralville, Jim Bamrick of Victor and Susan (Dr. Michael) O'Donnell of Tipton; a son-in-law, Charles Buckner of Wyoming, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Amy Holt, Bridget Bamrick, Colin Bamrick, Chad O'Donnell, Elizabeth O'Donnell, Matthew O'Donnell, Gabrielle Buckner and Katrina Buckner; four great-grandchildren, Riley Holt, Riann Holt, Rhielle Hansen and Casen Bamrick; a sister, Katherine Nordquist of Minneapolis, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Tellor of Adrian, Mich.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Martin Tellor, James Tellor and William Tellor; and a daughter, Nan Buckner.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Father Joseph Roost will preside. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg. There will be a 4 p.m. rosary.
