Ballard, Caroline Esether Dietrich
Caroline Esther Dietrich Ballard, 93, of Kinross, died Friday, May 27, 2011. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Wellman. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona. Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. Monday, June 6, at English River Church of the Brethren, rural Kinross.
Caroline was born Feb. 1, 1918. She married Cecil Ballard on March 17, 1940.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Della Allen, Bonnie Bergman (Ed) and Christine Ballard (Denny); six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings; and son-in-law, Thomas Allen.
